I am so tired, and this is going to be super short...I spent the last day of my "vacation" working for Katrina Help Austin ( katrinahelpaustin.org ). I am now a manager there, heading up the phone lines and getting poeple to safety...so I am working my 8 hours here, and 6 hours there, getting shit together. I accidently became an administrator....there are all these interviews and shit, the politics is nuts, but is so rewarding...but I am beat. I have to tell you some stories, but no time. It is some fucked up shit, I am telling you. It is amazing.
I love you and have to go...will write later

I am a good friend of Monkey's and she sent me your link.
I am currently in Toronto, Ontario and I have given my name to the Canadian Red Cross to volunteer. The person on the telephone told me that Canadian volunteers would not be deployed until they receive a call for assistance from the USA.
I am frustrated but I am looking to help out.
Don't let my blogger name deceive you... I am 100% serious
Let me know what I can do...I can't drive otherwise I would have been on my way by now...

I know how you feel. It's a horrible situation and I would help if I were in the States, but am one of the Prague contingent.
