Blogging
Monkey and Max are bugging me about blogging. I have, however, been writing to myself and I will post those later, not that I think anyone but my daughters will be interested.
I've been on hiatus because I've been listening, reading and learning. Truth is, I'm disgusted with the world as I see it:
1. The American government is being controlled by a bunch of fascists (Bush money first came from Prescott’s association with Nazi Germany - look it up if you don’t believe me, everyone else in the world already knows it). Yes, I looked up the Bush connection to Nazi Germany, but Thom Hartmann already wrote a book about it. This has already been documented, so why should I write about it?
2. The neo-cons (neo-nazis) get together at the Bohemia Grove and practice devil worship, and then lie to the sheep in America that they know what’s best for the world: NEW WORLD ORDER. This has already been documented, so why should I write about it?
3. We have a fight for the Supreme Court and will probably lose because the democrats in congress are all on LSD and walking around in a hazy daze, afraid to say boo to any republican who wants to subjugate the American people. We already have a Bolton at the United Nations who the media is now ignoring because it’s no longer “news worthy” and who will then be appalled when we find out that other nations hate us more than ever. This has already been documented, so why should I write about it?
4. The drug addict Rush Limbaugh, the Revs. Pat Robertson and Jerry Farwell keep getting richer because of people who have been raised to think that the President of the United States is better than they are. Let me tell you something, his shit stinks just as much as any one else’s. He is a PUBLIC SERVENT! He is doing things to America that will soon destroy us – he is the MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE! This has already been documented, so why should I write about it?
5. The religious right extremists are not Christians at all but Jehovah Witnesses, reading from the Old Testament and giving it their own spin and insisting that everyone in American do the same. I refuse. The religious right extremists want to refute Newton’s theory of gravity and want us to study “intelligent falling” when the world is much more interested in “intelligent fucking”; they want teens to abstain from having sex, and want to ban birth control of any kind. Then, this guy Roberts thinks that women should not be lawyers – so let’s all go back to the kitchen. This has already been documented, so why should I write about it?
6. My generation was brought up in fear – the Rosenberg problem with spying, the Profumo Affair, the Cold War and Nuclear Holocaust - and we rebelled in the sixties. We watched, over and over again, JFK’s murder. At dinnertime and just before bed we watched news stories of Viet Nam, with body bags being brought back home and with lies about how well the police action was going. We were lied to by Nixon’s first administration when he was elected on the premise that he had a plan to get us out of Viet Nam, disappointed then by the Watergate affair and the ultimate problems with Agnew’s resignation and then Nixon’s resignation. People of my generation either turned into skeptics who do not believe anything our government tells us, or people who cannot deal with reality. Look at the popularity of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” or “Sex in the City”. This has already been documented, so why should I write about it?
This all started with stupid movies like “Rosemary’s Baby” and “The Omen”. We never used to think about 666, or the Anti-Christ (who, by the way, supposedly was born in 1970 so beware you Jesus freaks). I don’t want to return to America because I think I’ll have a stroke arguing with idiots (some of whom read these blogs but who are too fucking stupid to read books, or who listen to opposing ideas), but I know I must because of just those reasons. Riggs is Crazy asked: Is this a Jeanne Garofalo blog? Not quite, Riggs, but if you have them you can BOUNCE YOUR BOOBIES!

Finally, AG.
Why should you write about everything that pisses you off?
- Because you may be able to teach someone something.
- Because you must share your wisdom with those of us who are less experienced.
- Because you need to express yourself to release some of the anger in a productive way.
- Because someone may come across your blog, AG, who knows nothing about any of this stuff, and you may change their perception of the world.
That is why you have to write about everything that makes you mad.
